Origin

1977-1999

In 1977, SAONON group's predecessor “Guangzhou Panyu Shiqiao Agricultural Machinery Company” was established.
In 1998, the predecessor company transformed successfully and renamed “Guangzhou Panyu Saonon Electric & Machine Co., Ltd”.

2000-2004

In 2000, SAONON successfully became the Caterpillar genset distributor authorized by Caterpillar South China exclusive dealer of United States Caterpillar Corporation, which is the leader of power industry in the world.
In 2004, SAONON group signed the strategic cooperation agreement with United States Cummins company, which is the other giant of electric power industry in the world.
In 2004, Guangzhou Canton Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd was established.

2005-2009

In 2005, Guangzhou Wanon Electric & Machine Co., Ltd was established. We have owned a 30,000 square meters production base, built spacious office buildings, set up our own R & D center and produced the first SAONON generator set successfully.
In 2005, SAONON group has started its own way of internationalization, its products were exported to Southeast Asia, Middle East, Africa and more than 80 countries and regions, and its annual export volume came out in the front of the industry.
In 2009, SAONON group’s after-sale networks covered the whole country.

2010-2014

In 2010, SAONON group won the title of High-tech Enterprise.
In 2011, Saonon (Hong Kong) international co., ltd was established.
In 2014, Guangdong Saonon Investment Group Co., Ltd was established and it expanded business field to new energy. SAONON group set up specifically department to develop new energy and research and develop actively biomass energy, solar energy, wind energy, garbage power and other new energy projects.
In 2014, Nansha project, which situated in national level development district, has been signed successfully, and the new production base construction has been started.

2015-…

In 2015, the project of the cooperation between LONCIN and SAONON group’s WANON has been approved unconditionally by CSRS.
In 2015, SAONON group purchased Shanghai Tractor Factory, Shanghai Xiangming Machine Company and Shanghai Jinli Technology Company successfully.
